What the app does

Universal TV Remote Control IQ discovers compatible televisions on a local Wi-Fi network and can also connect to a TV by IP address. It provides button, touchpad and numeric-keypad remote layouts for everyday navigation.

Available commands can include power, directional navigation, select, back, home, menu, info, guide, exit, volume, mute, channel, playback and input. The exact controls depend on what the connected television exposes.

On supported TVs, users can browse and launch installed TV apps. The app can also select photos and videos on the device and send them to an AirPlay-enabled display.

Supported TV platforms

The app supports compatible Roku devices, Samsung smart TVs, LG webOS TVs, Android TV devices and Google TV devices. Android TV and Google TV may be found on supported models from Sony, TCL, Hisense and Philips.
